Outstanding turnout of construction professionals at the ISTACO stand — consultations for more than 200 visitors

Omid Shahidi, speaking to the company's public relations office, described the wide turnout of economic players and manufacturers at the 23rd building industry exhibition as a sign of the active capacities of this sector, and said: over the four days of the exhibition we saw a large number of visitors and good turnout from stand holders, which shows that if the capacities of this sector are taken into account, they have the potential to improve the country's economic situation.

The chairman of ISTACO Building Development & Steel Structures Engineering said many visitors came to the company's stand and that from the first minutes after the opening, economic players in construction, industry and commerce entered the exhibition and visited the halls and the ISTACO stand. He added that precautions had been taken before the exhibition to welcome and guide visitors, and that the company's experts were present at the stand continuously over the four days, guiding visitors on the design, fabrication and erection of steel structures in the industrial and building sectors.

Shahidi announced that consultations were given to more than 200 people and that more than 500 people visited the company's stand over the four days, adding that besides fellow citizens from across the country, merchants and construction players from countries such as Oman, the UAE, Iraq, Kazakhstan and China attended the stand and received advice on their projects.

He described the presence of government and state officials as another strength of the event, saying that the attendance of the Parliament's Civil Engineering Committee, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, his deputy, the managers of banks involved in developing the construction industry and the heads of the industry's specialized associations promised that with greater interaction better opportunities for the country's progress can be created.

He regarded the support of the government and the state for the construction industry as a factor in improving the economy, saying the industry has a major effect on employment and gross national product, and he hoped that with government support these capacities will be realized. Shahidi recalled that, fortunately, both members of Parliament and the representative of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development emphasized support for the private sector in the country's development when visiting the ISTACO stand, and are planning for greater synergy.
